Performed 10 and 11 September 2004
The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society is putting on a Murder Mystery. Phoebe Reece is directing, with assistance from Mrs Gillhooley. This being a woman's guild, they have to take on all the roles, female and male, themselves. Though they do have technical assistance from Mrs Gillhooley's husband Adrian, Phoebe's husband Edwin and David McGillivray, Robert Bellow and the ever-reliable Peter Upton. Needless to say total chaos ensues with the set collapsing around the actors and props falling apart. In other words a hilarious play within a hilarious play.
Directed and produced by Joanna Nicholas.
